Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to prwn.app, the PRWN account dashboard, and the PRWN desktop application, together the Services, operated by PRWN.

It does not cover the third-party tools you connect through PRWN, such as the AI coding agents you run on your own accounts. Those are governed by their own privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

We keep collection to what the Services need:

• Account data: your email address and authentication details when you create an account.
• Billing data: your subscription and payment records. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
• Usage data: pages you visit, the referring site, your device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
• Support data: anything you send us by email.
• Local app data: the desktop app runs your agents on your own machine and your own logins. Your code, prompts, agent sessions, and agent credentials stay on your device; the app sends us only account and licensing data.

3. How we collect information

• Directly from you, when you sign up, subscribe, or email us.
• Automatically as you use the Services, through cookieless analytics and, with your consent, cookie-based analytics.
• From providers acting for us, such as Stripe for billing.

4. How we use information

• Provide and operate the Services.
• Process subscriptions and payments.
• Send service email such as sign-in links, receipts, and security notices.
• Understand and improve how the Services are used.
• Keep the Services secure and prevent abuse.
• Meet our legal obligations.

5. Legal basis for processing (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

• Contract: to provide the Services you sign up for.
• Legitimate interests: to secure, measure, and improve the Services. Outside the EEA, UK, and Switzerland this includes first-party analytics cookies (prwn_vid, prwn_sid) set on first visit, balanced against your privacy.
• Consent: in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland we set the first-party analytics cookies (prwn_vid, prwn_sid) and load cookie-based analytics (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time from Cookie settings in the footer.
• Legal obligation: to meet accounting, tax, and other legal duties.

6. AI, audio, and desktop-app disclosures

PRWN is a local environment for running AI coding agents. Your code, prompts, terminal output, and agent sessions stay on your device. PRWN never sends them to our servers and never uses them to train models. The agents reach providers such as Anthropic or OpenAI through your own logins, governed by those providers' policies.

Voice dictation runs on your device by default, and the audio is not stored. If you choose a cloud voice option such as Soniox or OpenAI Realtime, you supply your own key and your audio goes directly to that provider, not to us.

The optional Telegram remote sends short turn summaries and session details directly to Telegram through your own bot. It does not forward your code or full prompts, and it removes credentials first. It is off unless you turn it on.

The desktop app sends us only what your account needs: your email, sign-in tokens, app version, and release channel, used for licensing and plan checks. It collects no analytics, telemetry, or crash reports.

7. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers that help us run the Services, under contract:

• Vercel: hosting.
• Supabase: authentication and database.
• Stripe: billing and payments.
• Resend: service email.
• Cloudflare: cookieless analytics and content delivery.
• Google (Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity): product analytics, only after you consent.

8. Cookies, local storage, and analytics

We use a first-party cookie to remember your consent choice, and cookies or local storage needed to keep you signed in.

We measure usage with first-party analytics. Outside the EEA, UK, and Switzerland we set two first-party cookies, prwn_vid (one year) and prwn_sid (thirty minutes), so we can count unique visitors and sessions without sharing your data with anyone. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland we set these only after you accept analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. With your consent we also load Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which set their own cookies and process data on Google and Microsoft's infrastructure.

You can accept or reject analytics from the cookie banner, and reopen your choice at any time from Cookie settings in the footer.

9. Retention

We keep account and billing records while your account is active and for as long as the law requires, then delete or anonymize them. Analytics data is kept according to each provider's settings.

10. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to notify you and regulators of incidents where the law requires.

11. International transfers

PRWN is based in the United States, and our providers process data in the United States and elsewhere. Where personal data from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland is involved, our providers rely on recognized transfer safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

12. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict your personal data, and to object to some processing. You can also withdraw analytics consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, email us and we will respond within the time the law allows.

13. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we make a material change we will update the date above and, where appropriate, ask you to review your cookie choices again.
